BLACK LIVES MATTER

NCO stands with all of our brothers and sisters to

fight racism, police brutality and inequality.

We must demand social justice and come together to build a deeper understanding of what fuels racism in our community and fight for equality for all.

NCO is committed to being part of actionable change to

fight for social justice and the rights of all human beings.

Update From NCO:

As we continue to follow instructions from Governor Cuomo and Mayor Brown regarding Stay At Home orders and the slow, safe process of reopening for events, we will be postponing our 12th Annual Dinner Gala, Monday, June 22nd. We hope to reschedule later this summer.

Thank you for your continual support of NCO and we'll see you soon!

A Message From NCO:

In an effort to “flatten the curve” and following instructions from Governor Andrew Cuomo restricting gatherings, along with the recommendations and restrictions of the CDC, WHO, the City of Buffalo and local health authorities, we have cancelled our April 25th concert at Trinity Episcopal Church. In addition, we have also postponed the Sotto Voce and Nickel City Opera production of Jessie Downs’s new opera “The Second Sight”. Through thoughtful consideration, this production will be postponed to June 26th and 27th 2021, a year after initially planned. This extended incubation period will result in an even more special end result.

If you have bought tickets to "The Second Sight", these will be honored for the June 2021 production. If you would like your tickets refunded, or if you would like to donate your ticket purchase (if you can not make the 2021 show), please contact Jessie Downs at sottovocevocalcollective@gmail.com

We are still planning on our Monday, June 22nd 12th Annual Dinner Gala but of course, stay tuned here for updates.

To keep our community as safe as possible during this ongoing crisis, protecting the health and well-being of our audience members, artists, musicians, staff and valued collaborators is of paramount importance to NCO.

When this pandemic is behind us, we will have a greater need than ever for the experience of live music and look forward to seeing everyone soon!.

Be safe and healthy.
